RCA 50" Projector screen whirs when i plug it in but it does not come on. any advice?

This morning we went to pick up a TV at my brothers friends house but before we could pick it up it began to rain. Brought it home, dried it off, and doesnt turn on. i plugged it in once and saw a blue spark in the back corner. thinking that it finally kicked on i pushed the power button again but no dice. Took the back panel off and now im just looking at wonderin what i need to do next.

Poll: Should I cancel this party?

I invited eleven of my old university friends round for a flat warming tomorrow evening. Eight people said they would come but now five of them have cancelled on me either yesterday or this morning. I get on really well with two of the three who are coming and fairly well with the third. Should I just go ahead and have a good time with the three people who can make it or rearrange the party for another day when more people can come? Or have the three round tomorrow and then do another evening as well? All the people who've cancelled had valid reasons and still want to come, they just can't do tomorrow anymore. What would you do?!

My computer makes loud whirring sound?

Whenever I insert a disk on my laptop it makes this awful whirring sound. How can I make it stop. It's like the disk is running super fast at an really fast speed and it's going to blow up or something. Please help me solve this problem.

Solid state drive for MacBook Pro 13"?

My new laptop's HDD is 500GB, but it makes a slightly irritating whirring noise. I wanted to know if a solid state drive replacement would make it dead silent? Also, where cheaper SSD's with more gigs can be found.

well i dunno about that camera i have a canon 450d i know its not the same but if any camera doesn't auto focus just best to use it manually

I think it's a very respectful view of Muslims being spiritual people, however I am Muslim so I choose to follow those pillars. I don't have any Sikh friends (there aren't many here and the ones I see glare at me and are very stand-offish. :-/ ) but I hope to someday so I can better understand as many cultures and religions as possible.
