99 Cougar sunroof not working?

Ok, i have just recently purchased a 99 cougar, it has a problem with the sunroof. Now i am aware of all of the common problems with the sunroof (specifically the defective/stupid engineering of it) but my problem is not the holds being broken or anything, it just does not work. i hit the switch and nothing happens, not a whir, crack, smack, pop, or anything. i think it may be the wiring of the switch, or possibly a blown fuse, the switch to the roof has 5 wires going to it (any links to which wires go to what plugins would be great) so that may be it, possibly just wired incorrectly. Of course i can check the manual will have which fuses are what so ill check for that, but a diagram or something for the wires going to the switch itself would be appreciated, or any other suggestions on what it could be.
